Double Pole Double Throw Relay
A DPDT Double Pole Double Throw Relay has a single coil with two arms that move at the same time. There are two completely separate SPDT switch mechanisms inside a DPDT relay switch. A DPDT relay board is most commonly used for signal switching applications, but can be found in high power switching applications as well.
Low Cost Dual DPDT Configuration
The R2xDPDT includes two DPDT relays with your choice of 1, 3 or 5 amp DPDT relays. Features include no-click startup, 2 LED status lights, and E3C compliance. Relays can be controlled at 9600 baud and is compatible with ANY computer or microcontroller capable of delivering RS-232 data. Even a no-frills design deserves a high-quality driver stage, and that's exactly what we put on the R2x controllers.
