Wireless Data Collection and Control:

Choose your Inputs, Choose your Outputs....NO WIRES!

Take all the Power of the ProXR Series Relay Controllers...add a MaxStream IEEE 802.15.4 Compliant Interface:  Remote Data Collection and Control is Effortless!

It works like this.  Plug our IEEE 802.15.4 modem into the USB Port of your computer.  The modem will mount as a COM port on your PC.  Open the COM port and start sending data to the modem.  The modem will forward your data to all IEEE 802.15.4 compliant devices within range (it is also possible to speak to a specific device when other controllers are in range).

If you are already using one of our ProXR series controllers connected to the Serial Port or USB Port, then you will not have to make any software changes.  This device works as though it were directly connected to a serial port on your PC, offering %100 transparent wireless serial communications.

With all the control and backward/forward compatibility you have come to expect from the ProXR series command set, this controller allow you to send simple commands to activate relays, read the status of relays, activate up to 16 relay timers, and control up to 256 total relays using the XR expansion port.  All relays are electronically latched, simply send a command to turn the relay on, send a different command to turn the relay off.

UXP Expansion Port Adds I/O Expansion Capabilities as your computer control needs continue to grow.

Above we show the expandability of Our ProXR Series controllers with Built-In UXP Universal Expansion Ports. Our UXP Expansion Modules allow you to add A/D Converters, Contact Closure Inputs, or Potentiometer Outputs to this device. Along with this these boards also have the built in XR Expansion Ports Capable of controlling up to 256 relays from just one board. Whether you need power switching or DPDT signal switching, the ProXR Series with UXP Ports are built from the ground up with Expansion in mind
View our UXP Expansions or our XR Expansions to see all available options.

This ProXR series controller offers wireless serial communications, requiring only a 12VDC Power Supply.  Once powered up, the relay controller waits for a command.  A command consists of a few bytes of data.  Usually between 2 and 6 bytes.  Once the command has been received, the controller processes the command, and sends you back ASCII character code 85 to signal the completion of your command.

You can send commands to activate relays, deactivate relays, control all the relays at one time, plus you can send commands that tell a relay to turn on for a few seconds, minutes, or hours.  You can assign 16 timers to any of the 256 relays, and set the timers to go off after the duration has expired.

We have also added a Server Reboot Pulse timing feature that is particularly useful for rebooting up to 16 servers.  It works like this.  Connect the RESET wires on your motherboard to the Normally Open and Common connections on any of the 256 possible relays.

Next, send a command to the relay controller to activate up to 16 Server Reboot timers.  You can specify hours, minutes, and seconds as part of the command.  Your program should constantly reset the clock built into the relay controller.  If the computer ever crashes, it cannot reset the clock built into the relay controller.  When the timer expires on the relay controller, the relay will send a reboot pulse to any of the 256 relays, rebooting your computer.

The features list of the ProXR series controllers is extensive.  Our ProXR Software helps get you acquainted with the powerful command set.  Should you have any questions, please contact us.

Controller Requires +12VDC Power Supply, Photos May Show Options or Accessories Not Included with Controller.  The USB Modem is Powered by the USB Port and does NOT require an External Power Supply.
