Ultra Series Controllers offer more power, flexibility, networkability, expandability, and raw speed than any other multifunction controller we have ever designed. High-Speed RS-232 Data Collection and Control is now just a simple matter of imagining what you want to do. Our development tools and software make it easy to integrate computer control into the toughest machine control applications in minutes rather than months.

The Ultra Series multifunction controllers allow you to control up to 512 external relays using dual XR Relay Expansion ports, providing THE ultimate computer control solution.

All relay outputs are latched. Simply send a command to turn on a relay, or a different command to turn off a relay. You can control individual relays or all 512 relays at one time.

But we didn't stop there. The Ultra Series relay controllers are also capable of 8-Channel 8-Bit or 10-Bit Analog to Digital Conversion exceeding 350 samples per second. Two I/O data ports allow you to monitor standard logic level inputs or set TTL outputs, all under computer control.

An optional 40x2 Character LCD display integrates a fully programmable messaging solution, including software controlled backlight brightness (256 levels) and software controlled LCD contrast adjustment (256 levels).

Our Ultra Series Controllers offer RS-232 control at up to 115.2K Baud, making our Ultra Series the fastest computer control solutions we have ever provided.

E3C compliance allows you to control up to 256 devices from a single serial port. Just assign each controller a device number and start speaking to each device by its number. It is that simple.

Ultra series controllers are what we call "Confirming" controllers, meaning that every command you send to the controller, you always receive confirmation that the command has been processed, ensuring reliable communication in those mission critical applications.

Quick Start Kits

Also available is our QS12 Quick Start Kit. Kit includes a high quality regulated switcher supply, serial cables, and an RSIO adapter board used to add a standard serial and power connector to this relay controller. This Quick Start Kit can be purchased during checkout of this controller.
